In 2009, the parent company of "Veliaj Construction", "UFO shpk" built the Colombo Hotel building in Berat, one of the most important historical cities in Europe. A 2400-year-old city deserved to have the Euro-Atlantic symbols. This gap had to be filled and we as investors, including neoclassical architecture, chose a style that would represent us and reflect the values ​​of this unique city. The neoclassical architecture was a perfect choice to reflect Berat's connection to its history and culture, making it depicted in an authentic and balanced way.

The goals of the investor of this company are closely related to the efforts to enrich and preserve the architectural heritage of this remarkable historical city. The building includes elements of neoclassical architecture, motifs and details inspired by the ancient period. The numerous columns, domes, details, and harmony of forms and proportions make their architecture perfect for the historical landscape of Berat.
